Adding Images...

To insert an image in your Kiter Blog, hit the blue "Add My Pictures" link at the bottom left of the text entry box.
It is not so obvious the fist time you use it, but the little Green icon with an arrow (if you click it) will add the thumbnail code for the image into your blog.

The thumbnail code looks like this:
Code:
[thumb=datas/thumbs/2-justin-rangiputa-7.jpg]2-justin-rangiputa-7.jpg[/thumb]

And appears in your blog like this:

Click on the image and it opens the full size version.

If you want to add a full size image to your blog while in the "My files" section rather than clicking the Green icon you can click the which will paste the full sized image.

Extra Commands and formatting...

You can easily access a whole range of formatting commands by hovering your mouse over the bbcode menu above the text entry box. Here are commands such as bold, italic and underlined.

Every command that is used must have an open and a close to it so that all the text in your page is not formatted.

Example of opening and closing command code:

Code:
Open the command -> [command] blah blah images or text to be manipulated [/comand] <- The / closes the command after the text or image

For people wanting to add text wrapping to image thumbnails this can also be done easily. If you hover over the bbcode blue icon (4th icon from the right) you will see Column Left and Column Right. If you click one of these then add the thumbnail code in between the commands and the text outside of the [command] the text will 'wrap' around the image, sounds complicated but heres what it looks like.

Example of the colleft code with thumbnail code:

Code:
[colleft] Image goes here [/colleft] Text goes here

Here you can see the
command and the thumbnail in between. The text then goes outside of the
command:

Code:
[colleft] [thumb=datas/thumbs/2-justin-rangiputa-7.jpg]2-justin-rangiputa-7.jpg[/thumb] [/colleft] This is a picture, blah blah

Here is an example of what text wrapping looks like:

Now we can have
Line
after line
after line of text wraping down the right of the image.
Nice photo of Justin Cookson charging up at Rangiputa NZ.

Cool eh!
