FIRST IMPRESSIONS: The kite looks very robust... sorta like a slingy. You will note the black grip on the leading edge which i'm assuming is for grip on the snow, beach grass etc as well as protection from sharp objects. This kite is designed for all terrain riding (KGB, snow and water) so is built to take abuse.
PUMPING IT UP, ONE PUMP ETC: There is a little screwing mechanism that attaches to the little adaptor that is kept by the valve. It looks daunting at first but i figured it out in a matter of seconds.. and if i can figure it out then anyone can figure it out
. This kite pumps up real fast, ideal for those windy days when you wanna be on the water asap. No issues with pinching valves either, just pump it up to 10psi, take the thingy off and screw the cap on, no leakage at all. Bridle setup is like the 07 waroo except that there is no pulleys on the back lines
. Replacing the pully bridles are easy as you just change the inserts as opposed to the whole thing.
ON THE WATER: Very stable, By that i mean it doesn't zoom all over the place in gusts etc, it just has that nice steady pull, great for wakestyle moves and gusty conditions. But if you wanna go big then this kite has surprising hangtime, this was what surprised me the most. It's so user friendy and stable that you'll just wanna ride so powered and hence will be getting huge air. It's good for any level of rider too, especially beginners and wakestylers... both need a stable kite and both need a tough kite.. bullaroo has that covered.
NEGATIVES: Relaunching..... i was surprised at how hard it was to relaunch. I'm sure there must be an easy way of doing it but it definately seems harder than the 06 waroo to relaunch. You can do it but i find it harder than the 06 waroo... then again that was easy.
