The slingy fuel is a med aspect c kite with great stability and power. i've allways a had a lot of respect for the fuel due to these features which have allways been there with the kite from its early days.
Setting up: c kites ALLWAYS win out in this area... setting up this kite is FAST due to no bridles and a one pump system. Pump it up to bout 10psi (is when LE is rock hard). The struts may be slightly bent.. thats ok. self launch as with any other kite if by yourself... ie put sand on the wingtip etc etc.
Relaunch: pretty good. just like any c kite... walk towards it and over it goes... no dramas, no bridles etc.
performance: bloody brilliant. kite has a steady pull handles gusty conditions with ease and has an ideal turning speed (ie the steering pressure is enough to actually feel the kite). unhooked it's nice and stable and a dream to use... easy to trim unlike higher AR kites. but for the bow kiters used to 100% depower suicide leashes... miss a HP on this kite and you'll still have power on that leash so just bear that in mind. for an 11m kite it's quite powerful. in 15 knots on a decent sized board (ie a float) you'll be comfy lit.
landing: self landing is not easy as its a c kite. land it how you'd normally land a c kite hahahahaha... with loads of mess... nah seriously land it in the water like we did in the old days.
if i was a c kite freak then the fuel would be the ONLY kites in my quiver... i should have used the fuel right from day 1 until bows came along instead of pissin round with high AR kites.
