There is a huge difference between a 'basic Skim' board kids use & the surf stores sell. Compared to the full size KITE WAVESKIM boards like the one Mark Shin is riding here and the ones produced by CrazyFly (http://www.crazy-fly.com)
So don't get suckered out of a few $$ on the wrong thing.
Buy the right board from day one and progress!
